Easy Taco Salad

I first became acquainted with the Taco Salad some 15 years ago during a weekly Bible Study group. We’d feed on the Word spiritually, and then break bread together physically. This is a very easy and quick dish to prepare. It’s great for the family and parties.

Prepare Meat
1 lb ground beef
1 pack taco seasoning
Prepare ground beef according to package instructions.
Serve meat on top of tortillia chips

Toppings I used in my salad:
Shredded Lettuce
Tomatoes
Picanté Sauce
Sour Cream
Jalapenos
Shredded Cheddar Cheese

BBQ Shrimp

I love shrimp and this has got to be one of my all time favorite appetizers. Did I mention I LOVE shrimp. Yummy! Interesting enough, this dish is not prepared on a grill, nor does it utilize barbecue sauce. So why call it barbecue shrimp? I haven't a clue!

The dish is a great finger food, but have plenty napkins on hand. Peeling them can be messy. This is a very easy dish to prepare for small parties and get togethers. Your guest will be delighted. Cor the recipe click here: BBQ Shrimp  . Did I tell you I LOVE shrimp!

BBQ Shrimp

Camille designed the shrimp presentation in the picture. She calls it a "star". Isn't it pretty. The shrimp tasted even better than it looks. The dished was served to guest at my luncheon. I think they loved this dish the most.
